Plans are underway for the 2012 competetive shooting season at the Alleghany Gun Club. No schedule has been released
yet but the following events are under consideration
Rimfire Bench Rest. We do plan on holding two of these matches this season, likely both held during the summer.
Same format as last year Dates TBA
Redneck Road Hunt. We do plan on holding at least three of these during 2012. Dates TBA, but matches will
all be held on Friday evenings.
Bowling Pin Bracket Match Nor sure here, these matches were poorly attended in 2011. Not sure what we are
doing here yet
Clay Bird Matches We are set to bring back skeet shooting in 2012 as a weekday evening event. Dates TBA
Small Bore Sillhouette We did not hold a small bore sillhouette match in 2011 for the first time since 1999.
The matches have been poorly attended for the last couple years, but if enough interest is present it may return in 2012
